Key Features

  • Detection range up to 165 m
  • Various beam options for optimized field of view
  • High data acquisition rate (up to 100 Hz)
  • Proven reliability both indoors and outdoors
  • Immune to ambient light variations
  • Outstanding robustness, with no moving parts

Applications

Thanks to its high-precision detection capabilities, the Leddar M16 can locate obstacles such as fixed structures, vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists. This makes it the LiDAR of choice for mobility applications where off-the-shelf sensor modules are required.

Choosing Your Configuration

The M16 modules are available in two main configuration types, based on illumination methods: the classic LED family and the new Laser family. Both M16 families are perfectly suited to outdoor operation: solid-state design with no motorized mechanisms, wide operating temperature ranges, all-weather performance and immunity to lighting variations.

M16-LSR: For Those Seeking Extended Range

NEW PRODUCT – The new M16-LSR uses a laser source to achieve even longer ranges and to provide narrower and better defined vertical FoV–all in a smaller form factor than the M16-LED.

M16-LED: The Proven Leddar Workhorse

The M16-LED is the proven Leddar workhorse that our clients have come to value for its versatility and reliability. This module’s infrared LED light source provides wide-beam illumination at ranges up to 100 m and is offered in six different field-of-view configurations.
